An acknowledged expert in the development of quantitative investment management tools,
John Brush has published many articles in the area of
quantitative applications to finance, and is a frequent speaker at investment conferences and seminars. Dr. Brush is a member of the
CFA Institute and the
Chicago Quantitative Alliance.
Prior to founding Columbine Capital Services, Dr. Brush was an active duty officer in the United States Air Force. He served as the Chief of the Operations Research Division of the F. J. Seiler Research Laboratory, an Air Force facility that performs basic research in quantitative modeling and engineering. He was previously an Associate Professor and Chief of the Advanced Economics Division of the Department of Economics at the United States Air Force Academy.
A USAF Academy Graduate, John Brush holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Management of the University of California, Los Angeles.
